I want to share this story with you
Hi guys! The story I'm about to tell you was presented to me as an actual paranormal encounter that happend to my aunt around 13 years ago. It might not seem as something to keep you up at night but thinking that this is (as she said) something that literally happened (and keeps happening) in a place where I used to live is just a big no no. Before I start I wanna say that english is not my first language so I apologize for possible mistakes in writing. Also, if you're going to like this story I can provide you with pictures of where this happened. So let's start. My dad has a big family. 1 brother and 6 sisters and half of us still live together house next to house on the same property. When I was little and my brother was a newborn, most of us lived in the same house. On the ground floor was my grandma and uncle, on the top floor were me, my parents and my brother and two of my dad's youngest sisters, let's call them Ann and Ivy. With that there was one empty room on the top floor. The house we lived was next to the woods and we had a big backyard so we always had at least 2 dogs and a couple of cats so there would always be some moving sound, day and night. I remember that it was nice living like that, whole family at one place, but I also remember that I never liked that empty room, or the whole top floor in particular. I don't remember any specific events because we moved out of there when I was like 5, but I do remember the vibe that I could tell was off. Still can. Anyhow, since there was alot of us in the house, it wouldn't be weird if you heared any noise at night. If you heared movement you would just assume that someone is awake. However, after everyone moved out of the top floor, Ivy stayed. Grandma and uncle were still in the same house but the top floor was kinda isolated. Once she was the only one living there it wasn't so normal for her to hear footsteps at night. Or empty bottles moving in the kitchen. And she told me she heard that alot, but never have it much attention. But one night it escalated. Her boyfriend was staying the night and they slept in a room thats right across the entrance door. At some point of the night, she was woken up by the sound of empty plastic bottles moving. I don't know if you know that sound, but its like if you have plastic bottles on the floor and a cat was walking around them, moving them just enough to make a sound. She thought it was nothing, of course, because we did have cat's at the time. She just didn't know how any of them came in because she was sure the door was closed. She thought of going back to sleep, but then she heard the chairs moving. At first quietly but then they started pounding, like someone picked them up and started banging them on the floor. It stopped soon, and for a moment everything was quiet. She was terrified, her boyfriend still sleeping (I honestly don't know how but I guess the guy has 0 survival skills to wake up by loud sounds). After a moment, she heard footsteps. She described them as someone walking around in boots. She could hear they came right in front of the door of the room they slept in and stopped. As they stopped, she saw a blue light, coming from under the door, moving slowly. She said it was like someone from inside the room was holding a flashlight and moved it over the walls. The light moved slowly, from under the door, over the door, on the walls, all the way to the ceiling, right above the bed. Then it stopped. She woke up her boyfriend, unable to speak, just made those little, high pitched sounds of fear. When her bf woke up and saw it he became wide awake in an instant, hugged her and cover her under the sheets. He started talking, almost yelling, thinking someone was messing up with them, when the light went off the ceiling, became like a flying ball of light, and then just flew out the window. Ivy says they laid there frozen, unable to understand what just happened. Not long after that they also moved out and they didn't see anything like that ever again. However, that space is still used sometimes. It's empty most of the time, but Ivy lives in Germany now and another of my aunts also lives abroad, so when they come to visit they sleep there. Also me and my brother have partys there sometimes and I'm telling every time I'm up there the energy is just awful, like the space itself is watching us. There has been another little creepy moment 2 years ago that my cousins saw, but I will tell you about it only if you want to hear more. I know this is not exactly the kind of story we usually have here, but I never shared it with anyone online before and I thought maybe some of you would like it or be encouraged to share similar experiences. Have a good day everyone!
