Is there any actual differences between the five different ai chat models?

I’ve done just a little testing with at least vividtale, roleplay, and lifelike, and I do see just some small differences, with vividtale being very long and descriptive, lifelike being more short but realistic, and roleplay seemed to try and direct me into some kind of scene

But is there an actual difference? I’m debating, since I do have access to them, if I should change any of my longer term ai chats to any of the models to “upgrade” the experience

Also, do you know if there’s any risk to switching models mid-chat?
