doggy is literally impossible

bit of a weird one, but me and my bf literally are unable to manage doggy style. i think it’s because of me and perhaps my anatomy - we’ve tried using a mirror and i can achieve a really good arch (face down, ass up etc) but my vagina is still facing more towards the bed rather than at an angle which makes penetration easy for him, meaning he would have to be in a very uncomfortable position to even insert his dick inside me. is there any advice anyone has to make this work? maybe it is my positioning but i’ve looked at porn and literally nothing seems to be working 😩
