Kidney stone and kidney failure

I’ve had a kidney stone for a year now and today found out the kidney the stone is near is non functioning according to ct reports I will be getting a cystoscope in December where I will find out the game plan for stone removal or just allowing it to stay till end of life I’m a 34 year old male
