Why are ENFPs so random and ISTJs are so boring?

Now this is coming from someone who loves ISTJs. This is not hate. I’m just trying to figure out what ISTJs do that makes them boring compared to what ENFPs do that makes them random. Because I see mbti as a choice. Maybe you just want to be taken seriously so you don’t want to be ENFP. So you are ISTJ. Many ISTJs are very serious people. I don’t know why.
