If rear ended in iPedal?

I usually use level 3 and sport mode; but lately I’ve been playing with iPedal and am starting to like it. It works best with normal mode for a smoother start after stopping. But I’ve been concerned that leaving my foot resting on the go pedal at red lights is asking for trouble if someone were to run into me from behind. I have a ‘23 limited with all the safety features. Would it automatically break if I were rear ended even though that would send my foot into the pedal? I also don’t like easing into a parking spot using the go pedal instead of the brake. How do those of you who like driving around in iPedal handle those situations?
