I have a hypothesis on why epithas noli speaks that way in and out of lore.

If you dont know, epithets noli got voicelines, and in them he seems somewhat sympatheic to very every survior he kills, complementing shed when he dies, giving "rest" to guest, so on and so forth.

I think this is 1. because this is alternate timeline noli based on old lore that willing took the void star, allowing to meld and make him better, this would also explain how he knows 7n7 and the others, there events happened in his world too, but he willing accepted the power of the void.

This why he wishes the 7n he kills be fake 7n, he knows 7n is in a deathloop and wants to free them from it.

2. this is reference to the pandora script, because he is based of a script charater all pandora, he could be lamenting and feeling bad, his actions not controlled by himself, but the script runner or specture, a unwilling host that shows his sympathy were he can in this game of death.
