Is Iuno good for a new player?

I’ve started playing a few days ago and really enjoyed the combat and combo mechanics. Right now I don’t have many characters — I’m running Danjin as main DPS, Rover as sub, and Verina as support.

I’ve been spending all my crystals on the Iuno banner and I’m now close to soft pity with 60 pulls. At first, I really liked Iuno’s design and animations, and I was planning to build her as my main DPS. But after watching some videos, it seems like she’s not a great option for that role without a 5-star weapon or stronger supports besides Verina.

So now I’m not sure — should I stop pulling for her and just wait for a better main DPS? My Danjin is clearly lacking damage (or maybe my build is just bad), and some fights are taking way too long.
