Never filed a claim is it too late

VA Disability Claims :claim:

I was discharged from service 15 years ago, after being in for just under two years. I know on average you have to serve at least two years to qualify for VA disability. However I was wondering if anyone has ever heard anything different?

I went into service with a waiver for mild scoliosis, while in ripped my hamstring that took months of physical therapy, and since my service my back has only gotten worse. I got pregnant by my (ex) husband, and we were both sat down when I was about 6 months pregnant and told we had a choice, one of us take a discharge or both of us deploy in six months and leave our newborn with a family member. I still to this day dont know if that was an answer I should have accepted. Either way I chose to get out. I was discharged honorably and under medical conditions due to the pregnancy.

Before that I still did PT everyday while I was pregnant, ran everyday, etc. Once I had my daughter and was discharged I realized that my back pain was not just due to being pregnant. My back has been screwed up ever since, no doubt my scoliosis had gotten worse. I mean a 70lb ruck on a 145lb girl once a week during a 2mile run cant be good for that. Standing, walking, working anything sets it off now and it only gets worse. Im 95% sure I have a slipped disc in my lower back thats starting to push on my nerves. Problem is I've never been to the doctor because I have no health insurance and have never really been able to afford it. I just suck it up, drink it off, take ibuprofen and lots of naps.

But with no medical record proving I've been hurting this whole time, do I even stand a chance at a claim? Do I even qualify if i didnt serve 2 years?

I appreciate any help or advice.
