I need recommendations on how to start and manage a collective with artists from different music genres in a really small town.

That's it. I live in a cold, very spread-out town with less than 20,000 inhabitants. People don't go out, even for events promoted by the city hall. I am an independent solo folk/rock musician, and nobody here listens to that. In this town, there are about 5 other independent artists, each one from a completely different music genre. We met up and agreed to try and create a collective: do features on each other's songs, try to book events, and essentially, bring VISIBILITY to all of us. But the town is very small.

We've already met up to play each other's songs and get comfortable together. We're thinking about recording music videos for each of us, with a consistent audio-visual aesthetic, and releasing them through the collective's channel. We also want to try and create a monthly zine announcing releases and other things.

Does anyone here have experience with this, especially in small towns, who could give some recommendations and tips?
