do i have to format and reinstall windows my drive in order to get rid of any possibility of a rootkit malware or is just reinstalling windows is enough ?

"this partition might contain important files or applications from your computer manufacturer" it says can i gets those important files and applications later if yes is there anyplace with a list of those important files and application? or is what i get from the media creation tool is more than enough?
