Help Me Pick a First Army

Looking for some advice picking a first army. I've never played a miniature war game before and I don't have experience with modeling/painting/kitbashing.

When playing RPGs and military strategy games, I tend to prefer either a stealthy long-range or fast and aggressive playstyle.

I would prefer a faction that won't be super technically challenging to paint since I'm going to be learning that for the first time. Something tedious would be acceptable though.

I'm drawn to the below factions due to lore and aesthetics: Adeptus Mechanicus Adeptus Sororitas Alpha Legion Death Korps of Krieg Drukhari Thousand Sons World Eaters

I'm open to other suggestions except for Tau. I just don't like em.
