I think I felt the Holy Spirit.

I was having a rough day, and in my prayer I went really deep, I prayed for repentance and to let God fully take over my life and to heal me, I also want to be Baptised and convert to Catholicism instead of being non denominational. And stuff, and I felt like waves all over my body and I got teary. It’s not the first time it has happened, it’s when I get really deep into prayer and into my struggles and see god forgiveness and love. But there is always a little bit of me that says it was your brain tricking you, so are these signs of the Holy Spirit, and that I’ve truly excepted God and am saved through his grace? Or is my brain tricking me which sounds stupid to say, but the thought lingers coming from former atheist thinking.
