What if A&F sold their own vintage pieces like Polo & BR?

Polo Ralph Lauren has their Polo Vintage section online (as well as in some flagship stores) and Banana Republic just did a drop curated by Marcus Allen of The Society Archives with items from the 80s to the early 00s. Both are curated vintage pieces sold by them.

Should and would A&F consider it? A&F having been around since 1892 has a lot more history to draw on, granted the biggest interest right now (especially on this sub and other online spaces) is the early 00s/Y2K era A&F merch and there's people selling it for high prices on auction sites.

But looking on those two brands for example, Polo has vintage cargos for $250, jackets for $800+ and BR has a tank top for $50, t's for $100. We could see them selling pieces like Ezra Fitch jeans, those 'gorpcore' tactical A-14 bags from the early 00s, classic button ups or those military-style jackets with fur trim, even some Ruehl pieces like their leather purses.
