46 M4F, Australia/Online - Good conversation and a laugh is all I want - is that too much to ask?

Surely an online sub devoted to chatting is the best place to find someone to have an actual conversation with - although its unfeasibly hard to find and I cannot work out why! I'm a good conversationalist, don't take myself too seriously and enjoy a laugh; and am looking for someone that wants (and offers) the same. I'd love a long term connection, but beggars can't be choosers and I'd be happy with a few laughs today with someone as we seamlessly pass the time.

I'm probably not that much different to everyone else here. Married but alone and taken for granted, staying because a day without being around my kids would be hell. But still positive and needy enough to be looking for someone I can lavish attention on and make smile.

I am a big film and music nerd (and honestly, snob). Love to read, be outside and active in the sunshine and enjoy painting and sketching. I have a career I enjoy, but more than enough time (and interest, and patience) to build something and get to know someone new.
