AFPC/Retraining Asking For Docs I’ve Already Submitted In The Package?
I’ve submitted my final retraining package on Sep 19 and got the confirmation email from them stating, word for word- “Thank you for the submission of your retraining packages. Please prioritize the list of AFSC’s requested” As the final order they’d be going off of. Now, two weeks later, the retraining techs are asking me for proof of high school completion, ASVAB scores, and my signed SRB memo, all of which were already included in my package. What’s throwing me off is, If there was an issue, they could’ve flagged it before requesting for my final order of AFSC’s instead of waiting two weeks to ask for documents that are already within the package I’ve submitted right after I’ve made the comment for my final order of AFSC’s requested. I’ve had my leadership review my package just in I made a mistake & I was told everything that was listed on the list required was placed in the package properly. So now I’m just a little confused. Is this normal for retraining in general? Does anyone have any experiences or similar situations with retraining?
