Expected weather for next week Oct 5 -?

Me and the family are taking our trip down next week but my wife worried about the storms, from what I see by the time we arrive on Oct 5th the hurricanes should be gone by then. My wife is worried we'll be sitting inside all week dealing with the hurricanes, because the weather apps is telling us 90% thunder and rain storms all week, does this hold true?
