Seeking Victoria BC CFI

I’m looking to make a career change and thinking about the jump into aviation. I recently did a discovery flight at the Victoria Flying Club and living in Sidney it would be the perfect spot. However I’m curious if anyone knows of any independent CFIs locally? VFC says they have at least a 6 month wait list and I get the feeling they have a pretty full schedule so I’m not sure I’d be able to fly as often as I’d like.

If anyone has any ideas where to look or even any experience with VFC that would help me make the choice to go there it would be appreciated.

Thanks!
