iFlash Quad Freezing

Hi everyone. My iPod freezes when I try to select a song to play. If I let it play whatever song is in queue, it seems fine, only when I try and select a song does it freeze. Once resetting the iPod, it sometimes goes to the dead iPod screen and then after resetting again it boots back up and all my music is still there. I only have 47 songs on the iPod at the moment to test.

I have a 5.5gen iPod with an iFlash Quad using 2 Lexar Professional 1066x UHS-I (U3) A2 256gb SDXC. I formatted in MS-DOS FAT on my MacBook. When I get the drive info on terminal it says “file system: none” still, but once I slapped them both in the iFlash, the iPod restored fine and I got some music onto it.

This is my fourth set of SDXC cards (the first that the iFlash website says is compatible) and I am beginning to lose hope of getting this thing to work. I would prefer not to use rockbox if possible.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what to try next?
