Can we know metahistorical Truths?

I was discussing with a friend about Tradition and he defined It as a "Set of metahistorical and metahuman Truths"

Would It be a valid response that we as humans inside history can't know any metahuman and metahistorical Truths exepect Logic ones (like the LNC), witch Tradition isn't? (And also, isn't this trying to modify the definition of Tradition adding to It the "true" attribute?)
