Caught in a bear trap [Creative Writing]
Inspired by a session I had a few months back. Thank you for the support on my last piece; I have dysgraphia, so I'm sorry about the previous spelling errors!
Did you know how easy you were to control before you met me? Not that you've become more handleable - no, that would imply that you weren't weak to begin with. You were always easy. You were a fawn stumbling around in the woods all alone - unguarded; unaware.
You think you're charming; you think you're in control, but you have absolutely no idea what a real predator looks like. When the forest is kind to you, you stop looking for wolves around every corner.
I set a trap. A ploy to gain your secrets is set in motion by a façade of gentle touch and the false-promises of innocent intentions. All it takes is one slip-up, one lust-drunk exchange...
...and the trap snaps shut.
It's a shame that I can't use you in other ways, so I suppose your money will have to do. Buying my silence is a pretty penny, but I'm sure you can find the will to comply when your throat is beneath my boot.
Every innocuous piece of information - all of those embarrassing secrets - twists into barbed wire, and I'm going to use them to squeeze every last piece of defiance from you.
And then I'm going to leave you alone in the woods once again, just to clean up the mess I made.
