Me, at the job fair: So what's cooking at the Durham Region?

Her: What do you mean?

Me: Um... i mean jobs.

Her: i don't know. You'll have to go online and check our Jobs page.

Me: But... this is a job fair. So don't you... shouldn't you... know?

Her (seeing my manila folder): We're not accepting any resumes right now.

Me: Here, at the job fair?

Her: No.

Me: Well, i honestly don't feel particularly compelled to provide you with one anyway. Can you please save me a click and tell me which jobs are on offer?

Her: My computer doesn't have internet.

Me: :|

Her: (begrudgingly leans over to look at her colleague's laptop, and reads out each position title on the site to me verbatim.)

Me: Awesome. Thanks.
