Swimming with fresh piercings?

Hi guys, I got my helix and septum pierced yesterday and was advised to 1. Come back for a downsize for my helix in 6-8 weeks and 2. To wait 6-8 weeks until I can swim

In 6 weeks I’ll have an excursion to like a waterpark, so there will be water attractions(?) but I don’t think I’ll be swimming in actual pools..probably just like slides and that?

My question is: Would my helix be ok with a waterproof bandage on? I’m not sure if I have time to downsize it before I go on the trip I’m also thinking of bringing saline spray w me LOL

If anyone has any recommendations for bandages as well that would be nice!!!
