No ALS but symptoms are bad

Hi Everyone,

I have been struggling with neurological movement issues for about 4 years now. I’d like to post my story to get any insight into what may be going on as I’m constantly worried about ALS.

I’m 32 / Male - symptoms started with feeling heaviness in my right leg. I have clonus in both ankles and spasticity in my wrists and legs. My hand movements are slow when I try to open and close my hands.

Clean EMG and MRI reports and still no diagnosis unfortunately. I have seen multiple neuros who have don’t think it’s ALS given that I am still functional, I workout and go to work, but symptoms seem be getting worse over time. Sometimes I struggle to walk correctly and I feel off balance and uncoordinated.

Some days feel better than others where I feel like I have my coordination and legs back while other days my gait feels robotic, my grip is weak and my words slur.

Please give me some advice? I’m so lost at this point.
