Working when spotting?

I was just thinking about my last period. I was spotting for a couple days, and probably could’ve worked then. I just wonder if clients would notice? Do you do that? Do you wear discs or sponges during that time?

It’s light enough that I don’t wear anything except black underwear during that time (in case of spotting)
