P8L vs. Sar2000

What is the difference in these models? I know the P8S is shorter but the P8L seems extremely similar to the SAR2000.

I've deduced that the B6 is polymer, and the K12 is competition-focused. Just trying to understand the intended audience for the SA/DA 9mm's in the (former) lineup.
