Help please

So my cheeky bun who’s been littered train forever has stopped using his litter tray and only going on the couch! It all started when I put a blanket over the couch (which I’ve now removed) I’ve sprayed the couch with vinegar but he still won’t use his litter tray anymore. What can I do?
