Is it 50k or 20k per yr for loans?

Hi all,

Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, I have searched this sub and can’t find the answer. I filled out my FAFSA and got it back and was offered the $20,500 in unsubsidized loans. I know the federal loan cap for professional schools is 50k starting July 1st, 2026. Will I be offered this 50k through FAFSA? I’m so confused. Any help would be appreciated.
