Emi or full payment ?

Hey guys! I’m leaning towards doing a 50% down payment and financing the rest. I’m totally okay with paying the interest, but my friend suggests that it might be safer to save up more and pay in full. I’m curious to know what you all think. After all, you won’t become young again, and that bike’s waiting for me :D Would love to hear your experiences and advice.
