INQUIRY ON OATHTAKING

So I recently topped the blepp 2025. I was one cloud 9 until my friend yanked me down from the clouds and divulged that all topnotchers are required to take their oaths in Manila. I live in mindanao. I am a struggling worker and a breadwinner of my family. I cannot afford a plane ride to manila. Is this true?? Can someone confirm? Ansaya ko na sana pero nawala nung nabring up ito jusko.
