pls help - this error is driving me nuts

Collection not available: The products in the collection you selected are out of stock. Choose a different destination, or review the availability of the products in Commerce Manager. (#3858031) 

the creatives are collection specific, so i really need to link to the specific collection and I keep getting this message. I've checked commerce manager and I've hidden like 2 products that were out of stock.. otherwise my collections are completely stocked. how do I fix this? it's unreasonable to go to the landing page for these.
