Mental health tech?

Has anyone been a mental health tech? I had a second interview and a tour …but I’m second guessing if I will like it. I’m interested in mental health and I feel empathy for people who are going through hard times. But I’m nervous it’ll be more scary and stressful than that. My shift would be a 12hr overnight. They say overnight is definitely more calm but I’m still just kind of scared. I’m a tall but thin gal… not much muscle so I can’t protect myself much. In the tour one of the patients (younger man but super tall & big ) was calling out to me and walking towards me trying to get my attention…like what if things got out of hand and I couldn’t protect myself much? I dont even know I might be in my head. Not all of them will be scary people but I know some might be and are unpredictable. Some people say they LOVE their job, some say the opposite. What is your experience?
