Act 3 theory: what if [Y] obey [X] because [X] can control [Z] and [Y] are partialy made of [Z]?

What if Khann/crust Kings army obeys him (which Hornet finds weird cause of how tyranish he aparently is) because his army is partialy made of coral/crust he can control? Its kinda no shit he can control crust but some of his warriors litteraly ARE coral so it would make sense that he can somewhat Control them
