Naming pets - my Dog is facial recognized - can't name the Cat.

Stupid, I know. My dog was picked up in a facial recognition scan but for some reason I can't "name" my Cat. Is there a way to somehow do this manually? I would assume the same way to "name" a pet would be the same way to name a "new" person in the future?
