[Spoilers for all the trails games inside] is Cassius a big deal?
This thread is for fun, it's not that serious, no need for insults/toxicity.
What are his actual feats? What did he accomplish?
Tactical genius because of:
Hundred days war?
According to Kai, Roy gramheart heavily contributed to their victory. Who did they even beat from the empire? not vander, not arseid, not craig nor vandyke. Lechter's dad? LOL. No famous generals, just some nobles who are hungry for achievements. They won against numerical disadvantage against some idiot nobles under the influence of a curse.
Doesn't sound too impressive considering they had air superiority and the help of Roy Gramheart and presumably some calvardian special forces.
Dismantled D.G. Cult? It was a joint operation between a lot of heavy hitters, it's hard to attribute it's success to Cassius. The forces he had at his disposal is so OP, it's like playing red alert with infinite money and all the produced units are fully promoted. You barely need tactics at that point.
Commander of Mille Mirage?
He didn't win, the empire forces just imploded because of the whole resolution with the septerion thing.
Combat feats?
He's a Divine Blade : no arguments against it, BUT, he uses a staff now.
He 1 shot Reverie's arm in SkyFC, I would argue it was already weakened from having to fight your party TWICE (that may have included zin) and richard.
Who did he beat 1v1 or 1 v multiple?
Julia, Richard...is that it? (I actually don't remember).
Literally everyone acts like he's such a big deal but what has he done to deserve the mountain of praise?
"but ouroboros was scared of him so they had to lure him away!", They weren't scared of his tactical genius or his combat skills, he could have literally just talked to richard then the entire FC wouldn't even happen LOL. No tactics or combat required, Richard Idolized him, it would have been the EASIEST persuasion skill check ever.
