Help finding cat renal food that isn't paté?
Hey all!
Recently moved to BW and on my cat Lilly's first check up post-move they discovered that she's got some signs of impaired kidney function and she needs to switch to a senior and renal diet. Not unusual, she's about 13 years old. So, I got a couple brands from Müller and started mixing them in with regular food as the vet suggested.
Unfortunately, Lilly does not really like food in the form of paté, which both of the renal food brands I got were. She won't eat much of it, maybe 20-30% of the bowl.
So, does anyone have any suggestions for renal food that's either chunks or filets of some kind? If at all? Or just a really tasty one that you've had success with transitioning your cat to?
Much love! Danke schön!
