What Participating in Halloween Teaches Kids:

1.) It's okay to do wicked, sinful things, if it's "at church".

2.) Witchcraft, murder, and idolatry are fun, not things to avoid.

3.) Popular culture is superior to God's commands.

4.) If other "Christians" do it, it must be okay.

5.) Evil things can be made to look cute, and that's okay.

6.) Fitting in is more important than holy living.

7.) Obeying God's Word is optional, not mandatory

8.) Hypocrisy is okay, as long as everyone else is doing it

I Cor 5:6-8: Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
