Will I,an immigrant, have to pay for surgery?

Hey all, I got myself injured at training a couple days ago and was taken by ambulance to an NHS hospital in leeds with a fractured ankle.

I’ve been told it will need surgery and I am wondering if I’ll have to pay for it. I am originally from Ireland and have been living and working here for the past 6 months. I pay towards national insurance and so on like everyone else. If anyone could give me some insight if I qualify for free care I’d really appreciate it.
