First time in KL – Bukit Bintang vs KLCC for a 2-week stay
Hi everyone,
I’ll be arriving in Kuala Lumpur on 17 November and staying for about 2 weeks. I’ve already been looking at Airbnbs and serviced apartments, and I’ve narrowed my options down to Bukit Bintang and KLCC.
My priorities:
- Central, walkable, and safe area
- Easy access to cafes/restaurants (I’ll be working remotely during the day)
- Public transport connections (MRT/LRT/monorail)
- Nice atmosphere for exploring in the evenings
I’m fine with either area budget-wise – just wondering what locals and expats think is better for someone staying a couple of weeks.
Are there big differences in terms of safety, convenience, or vibe between Bukit Bintang and KLCC?
Also, are there any other neighborhoods you’d recommend I should consider instead?
Thanks a lot!
