[M4F] The Athlete and the Assistant

"Come on, man. You can't keep doing all of this stuff yourself. It's affecting your performance. You know it is", the voice of his coach crackled through the phone.

The man on the other side of the conversation sighed and walked out on his balcony. "I'll … Consider it. I'll get back to you", he sighed as he hung up the phone and slouched down in a lounger outside.

His life had changed drastically within just 12 months. The first decade of his professional career had been more than good enough to be proud of, but there had barely been any fame and fuzz about him. Not that he had minded much or missed it in his life.

When he had finally gotten his chance at the highest level, and seized upon that chance, he had burst onto the scene and gained followers and fame at a rate that still astonished him. But what had surprised him the most was how much it affected him. The man had tried to live his life as he always had, but learning to live with a more exposed life had started to drain him.

And when it had started to affect his performance, his agent had told him quite clearly. "You need more rest. More space. More time. Get someone to help you. Why can't you just hire a fucking personal assistant. You know. Like everyone else living your kind of life does", he had told him several weeks earlier.

The athlete looked down at his phone and sighed again as started writing a message to the man he had just hung up on. [Alright. Find me an assistant then.]

What happens when an athlete, with a newfound life of fame, finally budges and gets a personal assistant to help make his life a bit easier?

And what happens when the athlete starts to fall for his assistant? And the assistant falls for the athlete?

That is the kind of relation I want to explore, and go beyond with, in this story. My aim is to write a slow burning romantic story with this kind of relation as the starting point.

I intentionally left this little intro text gender neutral and not decide what sport he does or where in the world he lives. That is for us to decide together :) Send me a message and we will discuss it!

I would prefer to find someone who wants to do something long term. Someone who likes to write more than two sentences and someone who I can develop a good writing vibe with. A reliable partner is always preferred. Discord is a must. 3rd person writing is preferred. No use of AI for the writing.
