Can I invoke his interest again?

Hi,

My ex and I live together but one of us will move out soon. He wants a month of no contact to reset, but stands firm that he wants to see me after this. He holds fast that this "is not going to be a date" and would instead be like catching up as friends, but my natural hope is to incite his interest in me again.

We broke up as he felt our relationship was more complicated than he wanted it to be, and while living together as exes he still wants me to hold him and will kiss my head or hand regularly. Last night he napped in my lap on the couch and kissed my head before going to work.

I want to know if anyone has been in a similar situation, what can I do to rekindle his lost feelings when we meet again in a few months?
