Safe-for-overnight ear plugs

Sensory Needs

They’d be for my 12yo. We’re willing to try acclimating to the discomfort of feeling muffled by the earplugs for the sake of (true story) waking up with night terrors because the bathroom lid down the hall wasn’t lowered as gingerly as possible by me or my husband.

I know this is ridiculous, but I’m afraid to use the foam ones because I don’t want them getting in her nose if she’s having a particularly restless night and rolls over. We also tried the wax but she inadvertently yanked half of it out, which almost resulted in an ER visit.

It’s a regression that idk how to manage, as I have epilepsy and my own poor sleep can soon after lead to ER visits.
