Parking tips for Soberdose at Funk N' Waffles (Syracuse 10/10)

hey figured i'd share some parking advice for the soberdose show at funk n' waffles this friday. it can get a little hectic downtown so hopefully this helps you out.

honestly the easiest thing i've found is using an app called Prked. you can rent someone's private driveway or garage right next to Funk N' Waffles for the night. it's usually way cheaper than the public lots and you get to completely skip the traffic chaos trying to find a spot. just park and it's a super short walk to the venue.

if you don't go that route, the venue doesn't have its own lot, so you're looking at other options. there are a bunch of garages nearby. the Atrium Garage on S. Franklin St and the Clinton Street garage are pretty close. there's also the Federal Lot which is only a few minutes walk. expect to pay for these, and they'll probably have event pricing going.

street parking is another option. the meters are usually enforced until 6pm, so you should be good for a night show, but always double check the signs just in case. the main thing to watch out for is that you can't park on the street in that area between midnight and 7am, so if you plan on hanging out late your car could get towed. also syracuse has some of those weird back-in diagonal spots, so just be aware of that if you see one.

whatever you do, give yourself some extra time. friday night traffic plus an event means it'll be busy.
