Why was Martin offended when Cam said he worked at Jo-Ann fabrics?

In 6x20, cam says how tiring it must be assistant managing that Jo-Ann fabrics and Martin says “it’s a Michael’s and you know it”.

I’m not from US so idk what the beef is there 🤣
