This Small Biotech Just Unlocked a Massive New Market (And It's Not the US)
Hey everyone, saw some big news last month that seems to be flying under the radar.
On September 2, 2025, a company called Mainz Biomed (MYNZ) got the green light to sell its main product, ColoAlert®, in the United Kingdom. This approval came from the MHRA (the UK's main medical regulator).
Why is this a big deal?
- It's a huge market: The UK has a big population and a well-established system for cancer screening, which means a clear path to getting their non-invasive colorectal cancer (CRC) test into the hands of a lot of people.
- It shows momentum: This test is already sold in Germany and just launched in Switzerland. Getting into the UK proves they can successfully expand across Europe. This isn't just a one-time win; it shows they have a system that works.
- The next catalyst: Now the focus shifts to execution. We need to watch for announcements about which labs they partner with in the UK, when the first sales start, and how quickly people start using the test.
If the UK launch goes well, it could really change the story for MYNZ, moving them from a small company with a future plan to one with real, growing revenue across major European markets.
What do you think? Does this UK approval finally put a clear path to meaningful revenue growth this quarter?
