Dreaming of bars

What is the significance of bars/alcohol in dreams? I started keeping a dream journal recently and noticed a recurring theme of visiting bars in my dreams.

In one I'm at a big arcade and looking for someone. The arcade had like a sports bar in it. I walk inside looking for the person, they weren't there so I turned around and walked out.

In another dream I'm at the beach with some friends, and when I walk into the hotel room we're staying in I notice our room has a bar with nice copper bar tools on it.

In another dream I meet Zakk Wylde at a bar and we hang out together. This is the only dream I actually remember drinking in it.

Last night I had a dream that I was at a restaurant and asked to see the drink menu, but all they had was beer and I don't drink beer so decided to stick with water.

I'd like to note that I'm not a heavy drinker. I might drink once or twice a month with friends. Even when I do drink, it might be one or two drinks over several hours so I don't get drunk because I usually have to drive home. So why do I keep dreaming about bars and alcohol?
