The major cities were hit the hardest when the infection spread. Almost 9 million people were fed into a meat grinder as the dead took the city in a matter of hours.

Thankfully, my wife and I were nowhere near London when things started. As the years have gone on, we've survived together.

I also found out she was a Skrull in the first week, but hey, world was going to shit, that was the last thing on my mind.
(OOC: Previous posts on this subreddit I've made mention the Skrull relationship, this is the same situation, but in the zombies universe).

We were in a larger group, about 20 of us. Some human, some Skrull. We were prepared to fight to the death over supplies but my wife managed to put a stop to that. An uneasy alliance was formed but I had to sleep with one eye open.

We were in need of medical supplies but most hospitals had been picked utterly clean. Against our better judgement, we scouted London and found that it was empty.

No living, no dead.
Just barren.
I had a gut feeling it was too good to be true but the group leader, a Skrull named G'iah was insistent.

For an uneasy four hours, give or take, London was our playground. I heard my wife laugh for the first time in years as we toured the abandoned London Dungeon and destroyed waxworks in Madame Tausades.

Three from our group went into the London underground. Just to pick up some souvenirs, they said.
Michael, you fool.

We heard the screams across the city.
Then what sounded like thunder as zombies poured out across the city in the thousands.

I can only guess that, as the city fell that people tried to use the underground to escape, luring the dead.

But it wasn't just the underground. From buidings across the entire city, from shopping centres to the museums, they responded to the dinner bells.

My wife and I managed to get away. I don't know what happened to the rest of our group.

My wife and I are currently taking shelter in what was once Buckingham Palace. Had to dispatch a few zombifies royals but thankfully they didn't give us much trouble.

I fucked up my leg getting us inside.
I'm so sorry, David. There was no time to save you. I wish there was. God help me.

The dead are at the gates. They'll hold for a while, so long as no zombies with abilities show up. Not like there were many Avengers in London to begin with, but that's no reason to relax.

Don't come looking for us.
Don't attempt rescue
London is lost.

To all remaining survivors, avoid London at all costs!
