Question for NYC Electricians

I am an architecture designer working on a semi-detached 2 family residence in an R5B district in Queens - We are hoping to use 2x2 metal studs for the interior partition walls.

My question for you is this: is there anything in the residential code about minimum depths for J boxes for outlets and switches? Thanks in advance for any info / advice!
