Frontline for kitten with fleas

My sweet baby Lottie who my folks just adopted has fleas since she came from a parking lot outside. I estimate she's anywhere between 8-10 weeks old (We don't know exactly she has not seen a vet as of yet we haven't even had her for 24 hours)
We have no idea when we're gonna be able to take her in to see a vet yet so would using frontline plus help her out or should we wait?
