Lost and naive graduate wondering about career opportunities in clinical research

I 21F have a BSc in biomedical science. I didn't enjoy working in labs very much or the salaries for scientists in the UK.

I then went on to do a panic master's in health data science. I know now that this was a big mistake, but unfortunately I was stupid. I didn't have a good maths/stats/coding foundation when I started the course and essentially wasted the degree, but it did introduce me to R and data analysis.

I'm feeling so lost about where to go from here. I'm trying to take it one step at a time. My aim for now is to land a research assistant/trial assistant/CRC role, but I'm wondering where I could go from here. I don't want to become a CRA because of travel.

A part of me wants to be able to use my master's degree so it won't be a waste. Would a clinical data analyst be an option for me, or pivoting to epidemiology/public health? I would have to build up my foundational maths/stats/R knowledge, and I think they would prefer people with a biostats degree instead.

In my master's course I was also introduced to SQL, which was something I really liked, but I don't know what kind of jobs I could apply to based off this.

I know I'm very naive about what career progression would be realistic for me. I would appreciate any guidance on this. Thank you so much
